Welcome
Natalie Zamudio, LCSW
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Niyama Integrative Therapy. I provide trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and complex relational patterns throughout Arizona and Washington. Many of the clients I work with are capable and high-functioning on the outside, while internally carrying chronic stress, unresolved trauma, or emotional exhaustion. You may be navigating burnout, relationship strain, identity shifts, or long-standing family dynamics that still shape how you move through the world. Therapy with me is collaborative, steady, and grounded. My goal is to help you understand your patterns clearly, build practical tools, and create meaningful change that translates into your everyday life.
My Approach
My work is rooted in evidence-based clinical practice. I integrate:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Motivational Interviewing
Solution-Focused Therapy
Trauma-informed and attachment-based frameworks
IFS-informed exploration of internal dynamics
Culturally responsive care
While I have training in somatic and integrative modalities, my therapy services focus on licensed clinical treatment within a structured and professional scope. Together, we explore how past experiences, relational dynamics, and cultural context influence the present, while developing regulation skills, boundary clarity, and emotional resilience. My style is warm but direct. I value insight, accountability, and emotional safety in equal measure.
Areas of Focus
I work with adults navigating:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Trauma and complex PTSD
Burnout and life transitions
Relational wounds and codependency patterns
Cultural identity and first-generation stress
Adult children of dysfunctional families
Why “Niyama”?
Niyama is a concept rooted in yoga philosophy that refers to intentional self-reflection and personal responsibility. In clinical practice, I view this as the steady work of observing patterns, building awareness, and making conscious shifts in how we relate to ourselves and others. Therapy, in many ways, is a structured space for this kind of reflection, not perfection, but clarity. At Niyama Integrative Therapy, this translates into grounded, practical work that supports sustainable change.
A Bit More About Me
As a Mexican-American clinician, I hold awareness of bicultural identity and intergenerational patterns that can shape mental health experiences. I approach this work with humility and intention. Outside of therapy, I value time in the desert with my dog, movement through yoga, and rest. I believe clinicians should continue doing their own work, and I bring that commitment to the care I provide.
Let’s Begin
Therapy isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about understanding yourself more clearly and building the tools to move forward with steadiness and self-trust. If you’re looking for grounded, and collaborative therapy. If you are located in Arizona or Washington, I’d be honored to work with you.
